Privacy & statistics

This page explains the landing pages’ internal counter and analytics preferences. The main privacy and cookie policies remain accessible through the links below.

Scope and main privacy policy

This page supplements Eikona Imaging’s privacy information for services.eikonaimaging.com, including the English and Italian Rendering pages and the /real-estate/ landing page. It describes the features used on these pages and should be read alongside the main Privacy Policy (Italian) and Cookie Policy (Italian).

Controller and contact

The data controller is Anna Baldino, Via Anna Maria Mozzoni, 3 — 20080 Bubbiano (MI), Italy. Privacy enquiries: info@eikonaimaging.com. The name and address match the main policy; this email is the operational contact for the landing pages.

Internal aggregate statistics

The landing pages use an internal server counter during a page request. It does not require JavaScript. The statistics archive stores only the date, page category and total number of page accesses. Rendering includes English and Italian pages; Real Estate is counted separately.

The counter does not store IP addresses, full user-agent strings, full URLs, query parameters, referral sources or individual identifiers. It creates no statistics cookies, performs no fingerprinting, does not reconstruct individual browsing paths and does not send aggregate counts to Google or other external analytics services.

Some request headers are inspected temporarily to exclude irrelevant requests, prefetches and declared bots. They are not stored in the statistics archive or used as identifiers. The counter does not change the hosting provider’s technical logs.

Meaning of the numbers

These are page accesses, not distinct people or unique visitors. Reloads and language changes can produce additional requests. Undetected bots may be included; pages served from a cache without reaching the server may not be counted. Counting starts on activation and does not recover previous visits.

The internal aggregate count is independent of the choice regarding Google Analytics. Its purpose is to assess overall use of the two landing pages without profiling visitors.

Google Analytics 4 and consent

Google Analytics 4 is separate from the internal counter. It is loaded after explicit acceptance; it is blocked if no choice is made or if analytics is rejected. The analytics preferences in the landing-page footer allow you to change or withdraw your choice.

Revocation disables GA4, deletes accessible analytics cookies for the landing pages and reloads the page. The code requests GA4 cookies lasting up to 180 days without automatic renewal. Data already received by Google follows the GA4 property retention settings, to be confirmed with the controller. The legal basis for this analytics processing is consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing. The main Privacy Policy describes Google Analytics 4 and names Google Ireland Limited as its provider. Please refer to its relevant section and the applicable service terms for information on data, recipients and transfers.

Technical preferences and restricted access

The Rendering page stores its language preference in a technical cookie for up to one year and in localStorage. The GA4 choice is stored in localStorage for six months, with a policy version and expiry and no individual identifier. It is shared by Rendering and Real Estate on services.eikonaimaging.com. The main Adobe Portfolio site manages its choice separately. Preferences allow you to accept, reject or customise optional analytics. Previous refusals are honoured; earlier grants are not automatically extended to the new shared scope.

The private dashboard uses an authentication cookie only for its administrator. The application session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and has an eight-hour maximum. Landing-page requests do not start that session. Passwords, administrator sessions and login-attempt times are not visitor statistics.

Retention and security of counts

Daily aggregate counts are retained for the most recent 12 months, including the current day. Older days are deleted automatically from the archive and automatic server backups on the first request after the date changes. Up to 14 daily snapshots for days with recorded accesses are kept, also without counts older than 12 months. Exported and downloaded copies are managed and deleted by the controller with restricted access.

The dashboard requires authentication; the password is stored as a secure hash. The archive cannot be accessed directly from the web. Counter errors do not prevent a landing page from loading.

Hosting and technical logs

The site uses Aruba Hosting Linux. Hosting delivery and security may involve processing technical data and logs, including IP addresses, separately from the aggregate statistics archive.

The counter does not read or retain visitor IP addresses, but this does not mean the provider processes no connection data. Contact the controller for details on logs, retention and recipients for the actual hosting service. The main Privacy Policy also includes information on system logs and maintenance.

Your rights and further information

Where applicable under the law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. Details on exercising rights and contact information are available in the main Privacy Policy.

The aggregate archive cannot be searched for a particular visitor: it contains no list of people or individual identifiers. Enquiries about other processing on the site can be sent to the controller using the contact above.
